The opportunity provided scope to extend the current service offered a diverse partnership of providers by engaging learners in online learning interventions. The courses provided by the new ‘EClick’ both support learners who are currently in learning with online resources but also offers free courses to users not wishing to access full courses, preferring short, specific learning interventions on a flexible home basis. EClick is a pioneering project which when completed in March 2014 will be a continually developing platform which is responsive to the needs of Kirklees residents. The project also as huge scope for further expansion and could be used as good practice or a model to roll out to other Community Learning Trusts throughout the country.
